Not pictured is #Lord of the Rings: The Card Game. My newest addition is #Black Orchestra, so good and so thematic!
I'm looking to upgrade my storage solution since this isn't the most optimal. Might get something from Ikea since shelves are pretty cheap there.

I have shelving like that I sit some of my games on. I did notice, however, that after a while, the boxes of the games on the bottom became indented with grooves. You may want to tear up a cardboard box and place a length of cardboard on the racks to avoid any such indentation. :)
That said, nice collection! I love X-Wing, but have yet to play Armada. Would love to try it out someday. Same with Legion.

Armada has always intrigued me also!

yeah that's one of my concerns and why I'm looking into some shelves. Good idea in the mean time though.
I've played all three. They all have something different to offer.

Nice varied collection! What are your favorites?
I'd have to say #Inis! Though I love Armada and legion, Inis mechanics are rich and elegant. And the art style is insane. I have to confess I've never played diplomacy since I feel only a specific crowed of people would enjoy it.

Inis seems like such an interesting game! I have a coworker who owns it, so maybe I'll get to try it someday.

I have played Blood Rage, and Inis seems similar, do you feel like they are different enough?
There is card drafting and dudes on a map in both but that's mostly where similarities end. Blood rage encourages battles and going all in. I'd say, while there is combat in Inis, it encourages coexisting with other players. I feel like in Inis there are a lot more interesting decisions to be made. Also the game has 3 very simple winning conditions as opposed to being points based. Blood rage is super fun too though (those minis), just prefer Inis a lot more.
Ya I soured on Blood Rage because it felt like the overpowering strategy was actually against combat and more heavily on questing. I like the winning condition concept though!
yeah that is true, questing is the optimal way to rack up glory.
My friend just had this unbeatable strategy that I could not find a way around, Even when I stopped him from getting more Rage he still stomped us. I ended up selling it and getting Gaia Project, which is more up my ally.
Lol yes, they are very different in so many different ways. I and my groups tend to like games with light to medium interaction and deep strategy so GP fit well!
My birthday is inching closer and I will own GP eventually!

Heck yes!! I am excited to hear how your experience goes!
I have only heard great things about Kallax shelves from Ikea!
Nice collection btw. I had a friend get Star Wars Armada and say it was quite complex and long. Do you have much experience with it?
yes, I'm considering the Kallax.
I've played Armada many times. I'm a huge star wars fan so the thought of commanding huge spaceships was something I couldn't pass up. The game is great, there's definitely a lot of important strategic decisions to be made while moving and positioning your ships, but that's what makes the game so awesome. Army building is not as complex as something like heavy wargames though. The game, once learned should take 2.5 hours but I'm pretty slow so I do take more. You should def try it.
I have not played really any war games or star wars game for that matter. I might ease my way into it lol.
I think we need to start checking for Star Wars games at the door....
Show off your collection! Post a picture or two of your game shelves.
